Lorenzo Bosi is a research fellow at the European University Institute. He received his Ph.D.
in politics from Queen’s University
of Belfast (2005) and is
a past recipient of the ESRC, Jean Monnet and Marie Curie Fellowships. He is a member of
the MOVEOUT Research Group. His main research interests have been in political
sociology and historical sociology where his studies have primarily focused on
social movements development and outcomes, and on political violence. He has
published in several refereed journals: Criticque International; Historical Sociology; Mobilization; Partecipazione e Conflitto;
Ricerche di Storia Politica; Research in Social Movement, Conflict and
Change; Social Science History; The
Sixties.
